As part of our commitment to supporting local businesses and communities, Scottish Alternative leader Ethan Scott recently visited the Haddington Farmers Market. During our visit, we had the opportunity to speak with many small business owners and discuss our plans for creating a fairer economy that benefits everyone.
We made sure to purchase items from every stall we visited, supporting local farmers and producers who work hard to provide high-quality, sustainable products for their communities. Our party believes that investing in local businesses is key to promoting economic growth and creating jobs, especially in rural areas like Haddington.
One of the most memorable discussions Ethan had was with Lewis from the Woodland Trust, where they spoke about the importance of preserving Scottish forests and their wildlife. We are proud to say that both Ethan and Eilidh became members of the Woodland Trust and we urge others to do the same. The Woodland Trust is an important organization that works tirelessly to protect Scotland's forests and wildlife.
We encourage everyone to attend their local farmers market and support their community's small businesses. By doing so, we can all help create a fairer, more sustainable economy that benefits everyone, not just a select few. Scottish Alternative will continue to support local businesses and promote economic growth throughout Scotland.
